Goldi in the Labyrinth

Goldi in the Labyrinth

Firlefanz sets off on a long journey to visit his friend Goldi, the monkey, who lives deep in a mysterious labyrinth.

Firlefanz woke up and stretched comfortably in his little bed. The sun was shining gently through the window. "Today I'm visiting Goldi!" shouted Firlefanz happily. Goldi was a funny monkey and his good friend. But Goldi lived far, far away, deep in a mysterious labyrinth.

Firlefanz went into his little kitchen and made himself breakfast. A honey bread and a cup of warm cocoa. While he chewed, he thought: How do I get to the labyrinth? Papalapapp surely knows!

Firlefanz ran over to Papalapapp's house. His father was sitting comfortably at the kitchen table, drinking his morning coffee. "Papalapapp, I want to visit Goldi! Do you know how to get to the labyrinth?" Papalapapp took a big sip of coffee and nodded slowly. "It's a long way, my little one. I'll come with you!"

Firlefanz got dressed for the big journey: his green hat, thick hiking boots, a warm jacket, and of course his walking stick. "Alright!" said Firlefanz, tapping the stick on the ground. "Now we can go!"

And so Firlefanz and Papalapapp set off. They wandered over seven seas, seven deserts, and seven tall mountains. They crossed seven rivers, seven dark forests, and seven wide meadows. The wind blew gently and the birds sang soft songs.

Finally, they stood before the labyrinth. It was huge! The walls were made of thick, green hedges, so high that you could hardly see the sky. "That looks mysterious," whispered Firlefanz. But he was not afraid, because Papalapapp was with him.

They went inside. Left, right, then left again. Everywhere, little colorful lanterns shone on the hedge walls, showing them the way. Butterflies fluttered around them, and it smelled of flowers and fresh grass.

Suddenly, they heard cheerful laughter. "Firlefanz! Firlefanz!" Goldi the monkey swung down from a hedge and landed right in front of them. "Goldi!" shouted Firlefanz, and the two hugged each other. Goldi had golden fur and the friendliest eyes in the world.

Goldi showed them his home in the middle of the labyrinth. There was a small garden with a treehouse, a pond with colorful fish, and lights hanging everywhere. "It's beautiful here!" marveled Papalapapp. They sat down together, and Goldi brought fruits and juice.

They told each other stories, laughed together, and played hide-and-seek in the labyrinth. Goldi knew every path and shortcut. As the sun slowly set, Firlefanz grew tired. It was time to go home.

"See you soon, Goldi!" said Firlefanz, waving. "See you soon, my friend!" shouted Goldi, swinging back into his treehouse. Firlefanz and Papalapapp made their way home. The moon shone silver in the sky, and the stars twinkled softly. Firlefanz yawned. What a lovely day. He had visited his friend, and the labyrinth was not scary at all, but wonderful. And so Firlefanz slowly fell asleep, resting his head on Papalapapp's shoulder.
